Travis Nelson has held various roles throughout their work experience. Travis is currently a candidate for the position of Huerfano County Commissioner. Prior to this, they were a partner at Halcyon Hemp and the owner of Colorado Hemp Pharmaceutical Laboratories LLC. Travis also served as a founding partner at Colorado Hemp Services LLC, where they provided consulting services in hemp growing. Travis founded La Clinica and initiated the Fight Opioid Addiction and Overdose with Medical Cannabis Project. Travis was also the Director of Colorado Operations and Co-founder at Intacto, LLC. Additionally, Travis has served as a regional advisor in Colorado for Pure Green and was a co-founder of Sangre AgroTech. Travis founded SoCo NORML and owned King of Marijuana™.

Travis Nelson's education history is as follows:

Travis attended John Mall High School from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a high school diploma. During this time, they focused on their field of study as a marijuana activist.

From 1996 to 2002, Travis attended Colorado State University Pueblo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a specialization in Criminology.

In 2006, Travis obtained a Paralegal Certificate from the Center for Legal Studies. This certification was earned in August of that year.

Travis's education journey shows a progression from high school to college, where they focused on criminology. Later, they pursued further education in the field of law by obtaining a Paralegal Certificate.
