Richard R.m. Francis

Richard R.M. Francis, MD, serves as the Owner and CEO of Spine Associates, a position held since January 2003, where a focus on spinal health includes treating deformities, degenerative conditions, tumors, infections, and metabolic diseases. Richard is an active member of the North American Spine Society and has been a Fellow and Diplomat of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh since November 1994, holding certification in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery. Previous roles include membership in the American Medical Association and positions as Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Postdoctoral Fellow at Baylor College of Medicine. Richard's education includes an MBA from Rice University, an MD from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and an MB, BS from the University of the West Indies Medical School, among other qualifications.
