Gul-e Rana M. is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in providing support and education in mental wellness. Currently serving as the Mental Health and Wellness Lead at North York Community House since May 2021, Gul-e Rana M. offers one-on-one counseling and crisis intervention to newcomers and refugees, while also developing group sessions and supervising a team. As a Peer Leader for Mental Health at the Afghan Women's Organization since September 2015, Gul-e Rana M. has hosted over 100 workshops and organized community events focused on mental health awareness. Previous roles include a Social Work Intern at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital and a Project Lead at Toronto Public Health, among others. Gul-e Rana M. holds a Master’s degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from the University of Toronto.
