Jennie Collingwood has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. JENNIE started their career in 2001 as a Group Marketing and PR Manager at Merchant Retail Group. JENNIE then worked as Head of Tourism Development at Tynedale Council from 2004 to 2009. After that, they served as a Tourism Development Manager at Northumberland County Council from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, Jennie joined NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) as the Head of Marketing and External Communications. JENNIE held this role until they became a Director at the Northumbrian Water Pension Trustees Limited in 2013, where they led a successful rebranding project and chaired the communications committee until 2017. In 2018, Jennie became a Director at NewcastleGateshead Initiative and in 2019, they took on the position of Non-Executive Director at AquaGib Ltd. JENNIE also serves as a Trustee at The Bowes Museum since 2021 and as a Non-Executive Director at Visit Northumberland DMO from 2022. Jennie's expertise lies in marketing, communications, tourism development, and strategic leadership.
Jennie Collingwood has a Post Graduate Diploma in Coaching and Leadership from Northumbria University, which they completed in 2010. JENNIE also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business from Durham University, which they obtained in 2000. In 1998, they earned a BA HONS degree in English from Teesside University. Additionally, Jennie completed a Mini MBA in Marketing with Mark Ritson through Marketing Week in 2018, and another Mini MBA focused on Brand Management in 2019.
