Tara Branscome

Tara Branscome serves as the Executive Director of Adult Education & Workforce Strategies at Northwest-Shoals Community College, a position held since July 2008, overseeing various roles in Adult Education and Ready to Work Programs, including program coordination and instruction. Prior to this, Tara held the position of Clinical Coordinator/Recruiter at Alabama MENTOR and worked as a Family Consultant/Respite Coordinator at Therapeutic Programs Inc. In the early career, Tara served as a Family Specialist at Northwest Alabama Family Options. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Alabama, and an Associate of Arts from Northwest-Shoals Community College.
