Scott Shell, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Program Manager at Northwestern University since January 2022. Prior to this role, Scott worked at the University of California, Berkeley from August 2014 to March 2022, where responsibilities included serving as a Research Assistant for Professor Irmengard Rauch in the Department of German, focusing on data archiving, article editing, linguistic fieldwork, conference coordination, and tutoring undergraduate students in linguistics. Additionally, Scott held the position of Graduate Student Instructor, tasked with designing and adapting course curricula for linguistic and German classes. Scott earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Germanic Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley (2014-2020), a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from Wayne State University (2012-2014), and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in German Studies and Criminal Justice from Wayne State University (2005-2010).
