Magnhild Vasset

Magnhild Vasset has extensive experience in humanitarian and refugee assistance, currently serving as Executive Director of Field Operations at the Norwegian Refugee Council since October 2013. Vasset has held various roles within the organization, including Roving Country Director and Deputy Director of the International Programme Department from 2006 to 2013. Additionally, Vasset was the Country Director for Uganda from 2003 to 2006. Prior to this, Vasset worked as a Humanitarian Affairs Officer with UNOCHA and held roles in Kosovo with the Norwegian Refugee Council and as a Human Rights Officer with UNHCHR. This diverse background reflects a strong commitment to humanitarian work across multiple regions including Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
