Melany Hunt

Melany Hunt is an experienced professional with a diverse background in sustainability, community engagement, and the visual arts. Currently serving as the Stakeholder, Community and Sustainability Leader at Nova Energy since October 2019, Melany has also held various roles including Research Assistant and Retail Sales. As the owner and photographer at Le Toi Photography & Digital Art since February 2000, Melany combines artistic skills with a strong business acumen, demonstrated through the ownership of Global Waste Reduction Solutions from June 2019 to March 2022, offering sustainable waste strategies. Previous positions include Waste Reduction Strategist at Taranaki Cup Library, Business Advisor at Fairfax Media, and roles in production and tender coordination across various organizations, showcasing a robust capacity for project management and strategic consultation. Melany holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical and Biological Science from the University of Waikato.
