Jonathan Goodman

Jonathan Goodman has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jonathan currently serves as the Head of Research and Development at Novalith since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Scientist at Li-Metal from May 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they founded Metal Lab Ventures in March 2021 and operated as the Founder until April 2022.

Jonathan also held multiple positions at ADVANO from 2018 to 2021, including Senior VP of IP Strategy & Contracts, Interim VP of Research and Development, and VP of IP Strategy. Jonathan worked as a Patent Attorney at Synthesis Intellectual Property, LLC from 2011 to 2019. Before that, they served as a Patent Attorney | Associate at Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP from 2007 to 2011.

Jonathan's earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant Professor at Vanderbilt University from 2001 to 2005 and as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at MIT from 1999 to 2001.

Jonathan Goodman has a strong educational background in the field of chemistry, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware in the years 1990 to 1994. Continuing their pursuit of knowledge in this field, they then pursued a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1994 to 1998. Later on, Jonathan decided to expand their expertise into the field of law, obtaining a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2009.
