Pierre Labat

Pierre Labat is an experienced executive in the aluminum and chemical industries, currently serving as the SVP, Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer at Novelis since January 2000. Throughout the tenure at Novelis, Pierre held multiple leadership roles, including Vice-President for Sales & Marketing in the Global Automotive sector and General Manager of the Automotive Value Stream. Additionally, Pierre led the Packaging and Can business in Europe. Prior to Novelis, Pierre served as President of Alumobility from January 2021 to December 2022 and held various positions at The Dow Chemical Company from 1991 to 1999, including Product Marketing Manager and Sales Manager. Pierre's educational background includes advanced management training at INSEAD and a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and Strategy from EDHEC Business School.
