Seema Abbasi

Seema Abbasi is an experienced educator and facilitator currently serving as a Board Member for the Nunavut Labor Standards Board and as a PASS Program Facilitator at Nunavut Arctic College, where also holds the role of Chairperson for the Professional Development Fund Committee. In addition to these positions, Seema Abbasi is an Adult Educator within the Ministry of Education for the Government of Nunavut, responsible for planning and delivering educational programming for adults. Previous roles include Visiting Sessional Professor at Brock University, Adjunct Professor at Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, and Regional Field Trainer for Elections Ontario. Seema Abbasi has extensive experience as a Freelance Course Designer providing customized training for various governmental and educational organizations, and has held training positions with the City of Mississauga and Grade Learning. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education focused on Online, Digital and Distance Education, alongside multiple other degrees in education and political science from prestigious institutions.
