Markus Slopianka's work experience includes:
- In 2022, they were a Lab Head Discovery Bioanalysis at Nuvisan, where they managed the bioanalytical laboratory, supervised method development, coordinated interdisciplinary DMPK studies and projects, and evaluated and presented pharmaco-/toxicokinetic studies.
- From 2018 to 2022, they worked at BASF Metabolome Solutions GmbH as a Senior Laboratory Manager GLP Analytics & Metabolite Identification. In this role, they supervised a team, developed and validated analytical methods for GLP studies, and analyzed samples from experimental toxicology studies.

Markus Slopianka has a well-rounded education history in the field of toxicology. Markus began their academic journey in 2008 at Hochschule Fresenius Idstein, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry. Markus successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2012.
Following their Bachelor's degree, Markus further specialized in toxicology by enrolling at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Here, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Toxicology, studying from 2012 to 2015. This master's program allowed him to delve deeper into the field and develop a solid foundation in toxicological principles.
Determined to enhance their knowledge and expertise, Markus pursued a research-oriented educational path by joining The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg in 2015. Markus dedicated five years to complete their doctoral studies in Toxicology, and successfully obtained a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) degree in 2020.
Throughout their academic journey, Markus Slopianka has consistently focused on toxicology, demonstrating a clear passion and commitment to the field.
