Paul C Brooks

Paul C Brooks, P.G. is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Nyrstar, overseeing geotechnical and rock mechanics applications across multiple mining sites. With extensive experience in rock mechanics, mine planning, and geotechnical logging, Paul has contributed to safe mining practices through the development of ground control management plans and reinforcement systems. Previous roles include Senior Planning/Chief Engineer and Rock Mechanics Engineer, providing expertise at various East Tennessee mine sites, along with a history as a Continuous Improvement Specialist at Hecla Limited and other geological positions at Nyrstar. Paul holds a Rock Mechanics Certificate in Geological Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
