Hemal Soni

Hemal Soni currently serves as the Head of Chemistry at o2h Discovery, a position held since April 2016, and previously held the role of Senior Group Leader in Synthetic Chemistry. Prior to this, Hemal Soni was employed at Piramal Discovery Solutions - PDS, Piramal Enterprises Limited, from May 2011 to March 2016, as a Senior Principal Scientist and Group Leader, overseeing a large team of over 60 chemists dedicated to synthetic chemistry research for drug discovery and development projects. Earlier experience includes various roles at Oxygen Healthcare Research Private Limited from December 2005 to April 2011, including Senior Scientist positions and team leadership. Hemal Soni holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV) and a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry from MG Science.
