Matthew Perone

Matthew Perone has extensive experience in the field of data science and quantitative research. Matthew currently holds the position of Head of Data Science at Oak Street Real Estate Capital LLC, a role they have held since June 2019. Prior to this, Matthew worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel LLC from May 2014 to June 2019. Before their time at Citadel LLC, they served as a Partner & Director at Helix Partners from May 2006 to December 2013. Matthew's career in quantitative research began at Citadel LLC, where they worked as a Quantitative Researcher from July 2004 to April 2006.

Matthew Perone completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Math with a focus on Financial Economics at Harvard University from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Applied Math with a specialization in Decision and Control Theory at Harvard University from 2002 to 2004.
