Emma Duckworth

Emma Duckworth has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Emma recently served as the Director of Finance at Oaklands College, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Knebworth Golf Club from 2020. In 2020, they also worked as the Training & CPD Manager at ICAEW until 2021.

Emma has extensive involvement in the governance and financial management of nonprofit organizations. Emma served as a Board Trustee, Treasurer, and Company Secretary at Hertfordshire Citizens Advice Service since 2014. Emma also held the role of Board Trustee at Citizens Advice North Hertfordshire from 2004 to 2020, where they undertook various leadership roles including Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Chair of People, Premises, and Service Sub Committee.

Prior to their nonprofit roles, Emma gained valuable experience in the retail industry. Emma held various positions at Tesco, including Head of Customer Operations, Head of Store Support, and Operations Manager. Emma also worked as a Financial Accountant at both Tesco and Scottish & Newcastle Retail.

Earlier in their career, Emma worked at KPMG as an Audit Senior and served as a Board Trustee at HAPAS.

Emma Duckworth's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Bioaeronautics from Cranfield University. Emma also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Newcastle University. Prior to their university studies, Emma attended Stamford High School. In addition to their academic achievements, Emma has obtained certifications as a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW in 1994 and as an FCA from ICAEW in 2020.
