Ryan Higgins has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Ryan worked as an Associate Area Designer at Obsidian Entertainment starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were a Game Designer at Enduring Games from 2021 to 2022. Ryan also has experience from their time at SMU Guildhall, where they completed a Master's degree in Level Design from 2018 to 2020. Ryan held various roles during this time, including Game Director, Level Designer, and Game Designer. Ryan also had an internship as a Level Design Intern at Gearbox Software in 2019, where they designed maps for Project 1v1. Before entering the gaming industry, Ryan worked on film projects as a Student and Filmmaker at Swarthmore College from 2014 to 2018. Ryan also had a summer internship as a Lead Designer and Programmer at MassDiGI in 2017, where they worked on a 3D Endless Runner game. Additionally, Ryan completed a summer internship as part of the REU program at Rochester Institute of Technology in 2016, where they worked on a search engine project.
Ryan Higgins has a Master's degree in Level Design from SMU Guildhall, which they obtained in 2018. Before that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies & Computer Science from Swarthmore College, which they completed in 2018.
