Asifa Syed

Asifa Syed has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Asifa started their professional career as a Corporate Banking Officer at ABN AMRO, where they received credit training and was responsible for preparing and processing annual credit proposals for international corporations. Asifa then worked at Safra Asset Management as a Sr. Credit Analyst, maintaining a credit portfolio, processing loans, and presenting compliance reports. At Provident Bank, they served as a Sr. Credit Analyst, underwriting various types of loans and collaborating closely with lending officers. Asifa joined CIT Bank / SBLC as an Assistant Underwriting Manager before becoming the Vice President / National Operations Manager, overseeing originations, people management, and workflow. Asifa Syed then joined Amboy Bank as the Vice President / Director of Credit Underwriting, spearheading SBA PPP loans and managing a diverse commercial real estate portfolio. Currently, they are working at OceanFirst Bank as the Vice President / Construction Credit Officer.
