Maria Force

Maria Force is OPT’s Vice President, Human Resources, based in the company’s New Jersey headquarters. Maria joined OPT in November 2021, bringing deep experience as a business leader, entrepreneur, mentor, and coach with expertise leading company growth.

Prior to joining OPT, Maria was Director of Human Resources at Drew University. Her career includes human resources leadership positions with Roseland, a Mack-Cali Company, Gallagher Bollinger, Federated Department Stores, Warnock Automotive Group, and she led a private consulting practice focused on mediation and arbitration.

A board member of the Employer’s Association of New Jersey, Maria has also served as an elected official, holding offices including Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Councilwoman of the Township of Verona, N.J., sits on the board of Pleasantdale Cemetery and the Episcopal Diocese of Newark’s HR Advisory Board. She graduated from Drew University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and sociology and earned a master's degree in industrial/organizational psychology from Steven’s Institute of Technology.
