Daniel A. O'Brien

Daniel A. O'Brien, SPHR, is an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee and labor relations. Currently serving as Sr. Manager HR/Labor Relations at OFS since September 2019, Daniel focuses on strategic initiatives, collective bargaining, and management-union relationships. Previously, Daniel held the position of Assistant Director HR Employee Relations and Administration at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, overseeing employee relations and performance management. Daniel's extensive career includes roles such as Sr. Regional Human Resources Director at United Rentals and Director of Human Resources at Table Talk Pies, Inc., Plassein International, and United Plastics Group, where responsibilities encompassed HR policies, employee relations, and strategic planning across multiple locations. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Fitchburg State University.
