Dongwon Shin

Dongwon Shin has extensive work experience in the field of oligonucleotide chemistry. Dongwon is currently serving as the Executive Director of Oligonucleotide Chemistry at OliX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since April 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Director of Oligonucleotide Chemistry at the same company from January 2019 to April 2023. Before joining OliX Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Dongwon worked at TriLink BioTechnologies, where they served as a Senior Staff Scientist from May 2017 to January 2019, and as a Staff Scientist from June 2013 to April 2017. Dongwon began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California San Diego in August 2008, where they worked until May 2013.

Dongwon Shin earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of California, Riverside. Dongwon completed their studies in this field from 2002 to 2007.
