Ingerid Onsager

Production Scientist at Oncoinvent

Ingerid Onsager has a diverse work experience. Ingerid began their career in 2010 with a two-year military service in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Ingerid then worked as an Assistant Caretaker at Ryggeheimen nursing home from 2012-2019. In 2015, they completed a 5-week internship at the Center for Protein Engineering in Liège, where they studied antibiotic production in prokaryotes. In 2016, they completed a 5-week internship at the Laboratory for Protein Signaling and Interaction at the university hospital in Liège and was also the winner of a creative contest hosted by Thermo Fisher Scientific. From 2017-2019, they were a Researcher at the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science at NTNU, where they developed synthetic gene expression systems for bacteria and yeast and worked on using microbially produced raw materials for aquafeed. Currently, they are a GMP-operator at Diatec Monoclonals and a Production Scientist at Oncoinvent AS.

Ingerid Onsager attended the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2011 to 2017, where they earned a Master in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology in the field of Biotechnology. In 2015 and 2016, they completed an exchange program at the University of Liège, where they earned a Master in Biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology. In 2014 and 2015, they also completed a one-year study at NTNU in the field of French language and literature.
