Michael Gilmore (Tony)

Michael (Tony) Gilmore has a strong background in engineering, program management, and data analysis. Michael (Tony) most recently worked at Onto Innovation as the Director of R&D since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager from April 2021 to April 2022 and Engineering Program Manager from November 2019 to April 2021 at the same company.

Before joining Onto Innovation, Michael worked at Nanometrics for five years. From April 2018 to November 2019, they served as the Data Analysis Manager, responsible for overseeing data analysis processes. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer from the start of their employment in 2014 until April 2018.

Michael's earlier work experience includes a successful ten-year tenure at Intel. Michael (Tony) held various roles, including Systems Engineer Yield from February 2010 to February 2014, where they focused on configuring yield data post-processing systems, developing machine learning algorithms, and analyzing and reporting yield data. Michael (Tony) also served as a Yield Engineer from February 2006 to February 2010.

Michael (Tony) Gilmore completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Western Washington University, which they attended from 1999 to 2004. Afterward, they pursued further education at Simon Fraser University, where they obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Physics from 2003 to 2006.
