Ron Sweet

Ron Sweet provides capital procurement for commercial real estate investment opportunities for Onward Investors. Ron identifies and manages equity for capital needs at the entity, programmatic and co-investment level, and develops dedicated investment funds for discretionary investment opportunities at the project level.

Most recently prior to joining Onward, Ron managed business development for the eastern region of the U.S. for Guardian Investment Banking, where he created and maintained banking and client relationships. Ron’s commercial real estate finance experience includes forging partnerships with banks to create a long-term hold vehicle for their challenging assets. He also served as senior vice president for Marshall Group’s commercial real estate division, where he sourced and originated CRE banking opportunities, and negotiated and structured CRE loans throughout the U.S with a transaction volume of over $2 billion.
