Ricky Thai

Ricky Thai's work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Opener starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer at ITTIA from 2019 to 2020, where they built and designed a web-based dashboard application and transformed software documentation. Ricky also worked as a Software Developer Intern at Spetcial, Inc. in 2019, where they contributed to the front-end interface, created an embedding feature, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams. In 2018, Ricky served as an AppJam+ Program Mentor at Dreams for Schools, mentoring a team of students and achieving success in the AppJam+ Fall 2018 Final Showcase. Ricky also has experience as a Student Teacher at Marr Piano Studio, teaching piano and music theory to elementary school students and preparing them for recitals.

Ricky Thai attended KIPP San Jose Collegiate from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at UC Irvine from 2016 to 2020.
