Proshenjit Kumar

Proshenjit Kumar is an experienced environmental advocate currently serving as General Secretary and Organizing Secretary at the Environmental Sciences Students' Union since March 2023, and as Joint Secretary and Office Secretary for the Nature Conservation Initiative since November 2022. Proshenjit has been contributing data to the OpenStreetMap Foundation since August 2021 and previously volunteered with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society from July 2022 to March 2023. Academic involvement includes serving as Class Representative for the Environmental Sciences 48 Batch at Jahangirnagar University from September 2020 to May 2022, and holding positions in the Jahangirnagar University Higher Study Club and the Jahangirnagar University Science Club. Proshenjit is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences at Jahangirnagar University, with educational background in science from the Higher Secondary and Secondary levels.
