Guy Foster

Guy Foster has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Guy is currently the VP of Product at Operant Networks since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Market Development at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated from January 2018 to March 2023. Before that, they worked as the VP of Marketing at HiQ Solar from January 2012 to December 2017. Guy also held the position of Director of Marketing at Tektronix from April 2010 to November 2011. From May 2007 to April 2010, they served as the VP of Outbound Marketing at SyntheSys Research. Furthermore, they worked as a Product Marketing Manager at Agilent Technologies from December 2006 to May 2007. Prior to that, they held the role of Marketing Director at SyntheSys Research from April 2004 to November 2006. Guy began their career at Agilent Technologies in April 1998, where they held various positions, including Product Manager and Marketing Section Manager. Before joining Agilent Technologies, they worked as a Field Engineer at Hewlett Packard from 1995 to 1998. Guy started their professional journey as a Scientist at Plessey Research Caswell in 1989, specializing in opto-electronic integrated circuits (OEICs) design and test engineering.

Guy Foster completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with Electronics from the University of Birmingham between 1985 and 1989. Guy then pursued their PhD in Integrated Optics from UCL, which they completed between 1991 and 1994.
