Annie Douglass

Early Childhood Engagement Stragegist at OREGON MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY

Annie Douglass is an accomplished Early Childhood Engagement Strategist at OMSI, with a career spanning from January 2008 to the present. Douglass has held various titles at the museum, including Manager of Early Childhood Engagement and Senior Science Educator, where responsibilities have included program design, exhibit development, and creating immersive science experiences for children ages 0-6 and their families. With a strong focus on playful learning and empowering caregivers, Douglass has actively engaged in community collaboration and advocated for the importance of early childhood STEM engagement. Prior experience includes a role as a Science Educator at Mad Science Group, where hands-on science programming was taught to elementary-age children. Douglass holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Whitman College and is currently pursuing further education at Portland State University.
