Jamey Nakama

Jamey Nakama has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, Jamey is working as a Senior Software Engineer - Dev Lead at O'Reilly Media since 2014. In this role, Jamey is responsible for leading a small team, working with React frontends, Python backends, and Docker. Jamey also owns and maintains several products across the O'Reilly platform, designs new apps, and collaborates with other teams for integrations.

Prior to this, Jamey worked as a Senior Developer at Dark Horse Comics from 2012 to 2014. Before that, Jamey had a role as a Web Developer at Jamey DeOrio from 2012 to 2014. Jamey also has experience as a Writer/Editor at Jamey DeOrio from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, Jamey has owned and developed at Royal Paw from 2012 to 2014, worked as a Production Assistant/Web Developer at Grove from 2011 to 2012, and served as a Director of Research at Ethos 360 from 2010 to 2011. Jamey's earlier experience also involves working as an Editor/Writer/Market Analyst at MasterPlans from 2007 to 2009.
