Thomas Antonakis

Thomas Antonakis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in business intelligence and financial analysis. Thomas is currently working at Orfium as a Senior Staff BI Analyst, where they set the technical direction for the Business Intelligence and Analytics Chapter and ensures data quality and integrity. Prior to this, they worked at efood as the Head of Business Intelligence, leading a team and optimizing the daily data flow process.

Before joining efood, Thomas was a Business Intelligence Analyst at Click Delivery S.A., where they were responsible for setting up and optimizing digital advertising campaigns and conducting data mining for insights. Thomas also worked at MAKRO Hellas as a Financial Analyst - Controller, handling the financial reporting and controlling for the company.

Additionally, Thomas has previous experience as a Lab Tutor at Eurognosi-EuroL@b, where they taught computer classes, and as a Financial Analyst at NEOKEM S.A., where they conducted monthly closing reports and provided support to subsidiaries in various countries.

Throughout their career, Thomas has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, reporting, and optimizing processes to drive business insights and efficiency.

Thomas Antonakis completed their education at the Athens University of Economics and Business. Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Statistics from 2003 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Operations Research.

In addition to their formal education, Thomas has obtained several certifications. These include the "Introduction to the Music Business" certification from Udemy in November 2022, the "Astronomer Certification for Apache Airflow Fundamentals" from Astronomer in March 2021, and various Tableau certifications from Tableau Software, such as "Tableau Analyst," "Tableau Desktop II Intermediate," and "Tableau Fundamentals," all obtained in March 2021.

Thomas also has certifications in "AI for Everyone" from Coursera in November 2019, Microsoft Power BI certifications from Udemy in August 2019, Google Cloud Platform certifications from Coursera in April 2019, and several data-related certifications from Coursera obtained in 2014.
