Roberto Rojas Davila

Roberto Rojas Davila serves as the Section Chief of Groups of Situations of Vulnerability at the Organization of American States since October 2009, playing a crucial role in advancing the rights of marginalized groups and advocating for inter-American conventions. Previously, Roberto held positions as a Legal Officer and Consultant within the OAS Department of International Law, focusing on issues related to vulnerable populations such as the elderly, Afro-descendants, and refugees, and leading significant publications on human rights. Prior experience includes working as a Human Rights Expert at Centro de Desarrollo Etnico and as a research intern in international labor law. Roberto's educational background includes an LL.M. in International Human Rights and a variety of specialized certifications from prestigious institutions, highlighting expertise in international law, social management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
