Shelby DeCato

Shelby DeCato has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career as a Special Education Teacher at Washington High School in 2009 and later transitioned to being a Teacher Assistant at Charles Town Middle School. In 2013, they worked as a Special Event Coordinator and later as an Asset Protection Specialist at Marine Corps Community Services.

In 2016, Shelby joined Best Buy Health as a Direct Sales Agent and subsequently took on the role of Direct Sales Supervisor, where they conducted financial analysis, collaborated with different stakeholders, and consulted with product development teams. They later became a Data Analyst, working on cross-functional teams and automating data projects using SQL and Tableau to increase department efficiency.

From 2021 to 2022, Shelby worked at AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation as an Operations Manager, where they designed and maintained operational processes, analyzed data to identify opportunities, and collaborated with stakeholders to track and report program KPIs.

Currently, Shelby is a Business Intelligence Analyst at Orion180, starting in 2023. The end date for this role is not provided.

Shelby DeCato has a diverse education background. They studied Psychology at California State University San Marcos but did not obtain a degree from there. They then attended Palomar College, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Psychology. They also obtained another Associate's degree from Palomar College, this time in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. In 2009 and 2010, Shelby attended Washington High School and received a Certificate in Education.

In addition to their formal education, Shelby has obtained several certifications. They are certified as a Real Estate Sales Associate by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, obtained in January 2023. They have also earned certifications in SQL for Testers from LinkedIn in August 2022, Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) from Coursera in August 2021, Certified Project Manager (CPM) from Google in July 2021, and Tableau Desktop Certified Professional Certification from Udemy in March 2021.
