Software Enginering Lead at Osprey Charging

Henry Painter has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2005 as a Structural Engineer at Arup. In 2009 they returned to Arup as a Project Manager, and in 2010 they joined Global and Ethical Investment Advice as a Sustainable and Ethical Finance Adviser (Trainee). In 2011, Henry moved to Cazenove Capital Management as a Client Relationship Assistant in Wealth Management. In 2012, they joined the British Army as a Lieutenant and Information & Communications Systems Team Leader at Brigade Headquarters, and completed a Leadership and Management Course. In 2016, they moved to the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence as a Cyber Officer, and in 2017 they returned to the British Army as a Captain and Specialist Communications Manager. In 2019, Henry began working at The Scale Factory as a Consultant and in 2022 they joined Osprey Charging Network as a DevOps Engineer.

Henry Painter completed a Bachelor of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London between 2006 and 2010. Henry then attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst for the British Army Officer Leadership Course in Military and Strategic Leadership from 2012 to 2013. From 1998 to 2005, they attended The Manchester Grammar School. In 2016, they completed the Network Engineering and Security Course at the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence. Henry also holds additional certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), (ISC)², and Cisco. These include an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Professional (2020), Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate (2019), AWS Cloud Practitioner (2018), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) (2017), and CCENT (2016).
