Constantin Mareș

Constantin MAREȘ is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Chief Digital Officer and Executive Director of IT, PMO & Transformation Office at OTP Bank Romania since November 2015. MAREȘ leads the bank’s transformation initiatives, focusing on digital transformation and agile methodologies while enhancing customer journeys. Previously, MAREȘ held multiple senior roles at Bank Millennium, including VP Corporate Banking and Credit Recovery, where significant growth in loan and deposit portfolios was achieved, and Chief Operating Officer, streamlining back-office processes. MAREȘ also served as IT Director at ING Romania, managing IT functions across various business units, and played a crucial role in establishing capital market operations at BANCOREX. MAREȘ holds an EMBA in Finance, Marketing, HR, International Management, and Statistics from Kennesaw State University and a BS in Economy and Computer Science from Academia de Studii Economice din București.
