Meija Lohiniva

Meija Lohiniva is a seasoned educator and technology professional with extensive experience in academia and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at both Oulu University of Applied Sciences and SeAMK - Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences since August 2019, Meija previously held the position of Lehtori at Laurea University of Applied Sciences from 2017 to 2019. Meija's professional background includes significant roles such as Senior Web Developer at Koodiviidakko Oy, Developer at Barone, Budge & Dominick, and Design Engineer at Nokia, where documentation and implementation of protocol software for mobile terminals was achieved. Meija holds a Master's degree in Information Processing Science from the University of Oulu and a Vocational Teacher's Qualification from Oulu University of Applied Sciences, alongside a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Jyväskylä, currently in progress.
