Sherrie Parenteau

Sherrie Parenteau is a dedicated professional in youth development and art education, currently serving as a Youth Development Specialist and Art Instructor at Our Piece of the Pie since January 2013 in Norwich, CT. Previously, Sherrie worked as a Long Term Substitute Art Teacher for Plainfield Public Schools from 2010 to 2013 and as an Art Teacher from 2002 to 2009. Sherrie's extensive experience includes teaching at various educational institutions, leading art classes and workshops for diverse age groups, and holding the position of President and CEO of Connecticut Women Artists Inc. from 2009 to 2011, contributing to fundraising and organizational management. Sherrie holds a BFA in Painting with a minor in Art History from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts and an Associate's degree in Fine and Studio Arts from The Art Institute of Boston.
