Alex Diaz

Alex Diaz is an experienced education professional currently serving as a 5th Grade Special Education Teacher at Our World Neighborhood Charter Schools since August 2022. Previously, Alex held the position of Lead Teacher at Bright Horizons from July 2021 to July 2022 and worked as a Teaching Assistant at Astor Services for Children & Families between December 2019 and July 2021, with additional experience as a Teaching Assistant Substitute and at Kids Early Learning Centre. Alex also contributed as the Social Media Manager for Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity from April 2018 to January 2020, managing various social media accounts and promoting events. Alex holds a Master of Education in Inclusive Childhood from NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development and a Bachelor's degree in History and Teaching Preparation from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. The educational journey began with an Advanced Regents Diploma from John Jay Senior High School.
