About This Role
As the second member of Overalls' product team, you'll work cross-functionally and collaboratively to help bring our platform and business vision to life. You'll own the strategy and roadmap for a substantial piece of the Overalls platform and contribute to our short- and long-term product vision, while getting deep into the nitty gritty of product development, rollout, and evaluating success.
What you'll do:
Depending on your background, skillset, and interests you'll own some portion of: customer onboarding and engagement, financial education, internal tools, partner tools, AI, and integration with insurance partners.
You'll identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and improvement, gather product requirements from internal and external users and partners, develop user flows, and translate into scoped engineering deliverables. Where relevant you'll work with design on high-fidelity UI designs and micro interactions.
You'll manage a product development process, including sequencing features, answering questions for engineering, QA, and evaluating success
You'll include evaluation planning in all features to measure success, iterate and evolve product strategy
As needed: usability testing, partner rollouts and support, market research.
What you'll need:
4+ years of product experience, preferably including an early stage startup
Ability to think strategically around building a business, not just features, and ability to communicate that strategy to the teams around you
Fluency in data analytics, comfort with Mixpanel or another analytics tool and either SQL fluency or competency
Strong technical literacy - can navigate APIs, databases, and system architecture and develop a working understanding of AI techniques
Ability to develop a deep understanding of our end users and enterprise users through your own research as well as by synthesizing data collected by the rest of the organization
Passion for excellence, but willing to make highly practical prioritization decisions.
Excellent project management and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to make decisions quickly and independently and tie those decisions back to the overall business strategy
Ability to work with a diverse team of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and communicate clearly and frequently across the organization
