Nicolas Crocfer

Nicolas Crocfer has a diverse work experience in various companies. Nicolas started their career as a Developer at EIFFAGE from May 2009 to July 2010. Nicolas then moved to SQL Technologies Inc., where they worked as a Developer from September 2010 to August 2011. After that, they became the Owner of Mashant from 2011 to June 2013.

Nicolas'snext role was as an Engineer in Design and Development at Agence nationale de la sécurité des systèmes d'information (ANSSI) from July 2013 to September 2015. Subsequently, Nicolas joined OVHcloud as a Python Developer from October 2015. Nicolas was responsible for developing and maintaining a platform for deploying internal infrastructure and creating tools to support sysadmins in their daily tasks.

Within OVHcloud, they then took on the role of Lead Tech in the WebHosting team from March 2018, managing a small team that developed a platform for computing the Quality of Service (QoS). This tool was open-sourced and used for daily quality reporting. Currently, Nicolas is working as an IT Director at OVHcloud, leading a team of developers and sysadmins in providing tools for infrastructure deployment, monitoring, alerting, and reporting.

Nicolas Crocfer attended the Institut d'Informatique d'Entreprise from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Expert en Sécurité des Systèmes d'Information. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they studied at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France and earned a Licence Professionnelle in CDAISI, specializing in Ethical Hacking. Starting in 2006 until 2008, Nicolas pursued a DUT in Informatique - Génie Informatique at the Université Polytechnique Hauts-de-France, focusing on software development.
