Chris Adams

Chris Adams has a diverse work experience across various industries. Currently, they are serving as the Co-Director of the Media Innovation Lab at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication, where they lead a team of strategic thinkers and problem solvers. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic Advisor at Enliven Advisory, bringing fresh perspectives to clients' challenges and opportunities. Chris also established Orbit Media Group, a consulting firm specializing in digital strategy and transformation. Notably, they served as the Director of Oxamii, a company focused on community-based renewable energy solutions. Chris has also been involved as an investment committee member at Arrive Wealth Management (SEQ) Pty Ltd and held advisory roles at The Room Xchange, Impact Academy, and EMT Partners. Furthermore, they have experience as a Director at Veilability, a rideshare service called Lumi Ride, and previously served as an Advisor at Impact Academy. Chris Adams has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Mass Communications from the University of Denver, which was obtained from 1985 to 1989. Then, from 1991 to 1994, Adams pursued a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Film from the University of Southern California. Finally, from 1993 to 1995, Adams completed another Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Professional Writing at the University of Southern California.
