Mim Norvell

Environmental Sustainability Project Support at Oxford City Council

Mim Norvell is an experienced professional in environmental sustainability and community support, currently serving as Environmental Sustainability Project Support at Oxford City Council since April 2018. As Co-Chair of Sustainable Wantage, a community group focused on addressing environmental and economic challenges, Mim has been instrumental in promoting initiatives related to food, energy, waste, and community resilience since January 2012. Previous roles include Youth Support Worker at The Sweatbox Youth Centre, Visits & Volunteers Coordinator at Westmill Sustainable Energy Trust, and Town Team Co-ordinator for Wantage Town Team, which earned recognition in the 2014 GB High Street awards. Mim's entrepreneurial experience includes owning Airjelly Bouncy Castles and a background in export customer service management at Bookpoint Ltd. Education was completed at Abingdon College and Didcot Girls School.
