Rachel Hipkin

Rachel Hipkin has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of sales and life sciences. Rachel currently holds the position of Associate Director, Field Sales at Oxford Nanopore Technologies, where they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as Senior Strategic Account Manager at the same company from November 2021 to April 2023. Before joining Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Rachel worked at Fluidigm Corporation as UK&Ir Senior Sales Manager and UK&IR Sales Manager from March 2020 to November 2021 and from January 2018 to March 2020, respectively. Rachel also served as an Account Manager in the South East UK region from August 2015 to January 2018. Before Fluidigm Corporation, Rachel worked at QIAGEN as a Sales Applications Specialist and Life Science Sales Representative from July 2013 to August 2015 and from October 2012 to July 2013, respectively. Prior to their career in sales, Rachel worked as a PhD student at the University of East Anglia from October 2008 to October 2012. Rachel also gained research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Southampton in the School of Biology from 2007 to 2008. Rachel's early experience includes working as a Technical Support staff member at Fisheries and Oceans Canada from October 2004 to June 2005.

Rachel Hipkin received their PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of East Anglia. Rachel attended the university from 2008 to 2012.
