Matthew Hurlburt

Matthew Hurlburt is an experienced educator and professional with a diverse background in both academia and practical training. Since January 2016, Matthew has been serving as an Adjunct Professor at Housatonic Community College and as a Trainer at Oxford Seminars. Additionally, Matthew has been an Instructor at Myofu An Dojo Connecticut, specializing in ancient Japanese martial arts and practical self-defense techniques. As the Kitchen Manager at Miya's Sushi since 2004, Matthew has honed culinary management skills. Previous roles include ESL Instructor at Orange BOE and Judicial Security Officer for the State of Connecticut. Matthew's international experience includes teaching English in Japan with NOVA Group and Interac. Matthew holds a degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on East Asian Studies from Southern Connecticut State University.
