Laura Smiddy

Laura Smiddy, CPA, CPP, MBA, currently serves as the Head of Finance Operations at Palantir Technologies since May 2022. Prior to this role, Laura held significant positions at Yahoo as Sr. Director of Global Payroll & Commissions and Director of Global Payroll & Sales Incentive from March 2020 to May 2022. Additionally, Laura was the Director of Payroll Global Process Owner at LinkedIn from June 2019 to March 2020 and held two simultaneous director-level roles in Payroll at Yahoo and Verizon Media between May 2013 and June 2019. Laura began their career as a Treasury Manager at Werner Enterprises from June 2004 to May 2013. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Briar Cliff University.
