William Deschamps

William Deschamps has a background in scientific research and laboratory work. William worked as a Junior Fermentation Scientist at Paleo since January 2023, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they served as a Laboratory Technician at Paleo from May 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Paleo, they worked as a PHD Student at Université libre de Bruxelles from July 2020 to January 2022, conducting research on the anti-cancerous and anti-inflammatory properties of molecules extracted from plants used in Rwandese pharmacopeia. Additionally, they completed an internship in research and development at HEDELAB from July 2018 to October 2018.

William Deschamps obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry and bioindustries with a specialized aim from Université libre de Bruxelles, where they attended from 2014 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended EF International Language Campuses in 2013 and 2014, focusing on languages, particularly English and Spanish. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma de español como lengua extranjera (Nivel B1) from Instituto Cervantes in August 2014 and a Certificate in advanced English (Grade B) from Cambridge Assessment English.
