Sonia Kastner

Sonia Kastner is the founder and CEO of Pano, a company that advises and invests in startups and funds. Kastner is primarily focused on hardware technology and manufacturing businesses, at both early stage and growth stage.

Prior to starting Pano, Kastner served as the Vice President of Supply Chain at PAX from November 2016 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for advising and investing in startups and funds, with a focus on hardware technology and manufacturing businesses.

From January 2014 to October 2015, Kastner served as the Global Supply Manager at Nest, overseeing the supply chain for the major electromechanical subassemblies across more than 5 different Nest products. In this role, they were responsible for supplier selection, joint technology development, contract negotiation, line bring-up, cost, quality, and on-time delivery.

Prior to Nest, Kastner served as the Director of Operations at Whistle Labs from August 2012 to December 2013. In this role, they were responsible for the overall operations of the company.

Before Whistle Labs, Kastner served as the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Development at Alta Devices from July 2009 to April 2012. In this role, they were responsible for developing and managing the supply chain for the company.

Sonia Kastner has an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and an AB in Physics from Harvard University.
