John Parris

John Parris has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. John is currently serving as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Parraid, LLC since January 2021. Prior to this, they were associated with Smartronix for a significant portion of their career. John held multiple roles at Smartronix, including Co-Founder & Board Member, Chief Executive Officer, and Vice President of Business Development and Strategy. During their time at Smartronix, they played a crucial role in the company's growth from zero to approximately $650 million in annual revenue and over $3 billion in cumulative earnings. Notably, they were involved in architecting and managing the Marine Corps Enterprise Network and developing products for tactical close air support critical communications. Before joining Smartronix, they briefly co-founded the company in 1995.

Prior to their involvement with Smartronix, John worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Consultant from 1990 to 1995. Here, they supported the Air Force Special Operations Command in network infrastructure development and also assisted the Egyptian Government in the development of an automated information system.

Starting their career in 1987, John worked at Veda Inc. as a Program Analyst. There, they developed tools based on legacy applications for automating billing and collection processes and supported the Joint Tactical Distribution System Program Manager.

Overall, John Parris has a strong background in leadership, strategic planning, network infrastructure, and technology implementation, with a focus on government and defense sectors.

From 1982 to 1986, John Parris attended Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Management and Operations.
