Farzad Husain

Farzad Husain has an extensive work experience in the field of machine learning and robotics. Farzad began their career as a Student Researcher at Fraunhofer IPA in 2009. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as a Ph.D. student at IRI - Institut de Robotica i Informatica Industrial, CSIC-UPC. Following that, they joined Catchoom in 2016 as a Deep Learning Scientist, where they worked until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Partium.io, starting from December 2020.

Farzad Husain completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences. Farzad attended the university from 2004 to 2008.

Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from the Blekinge Institute of Technology. Farzad enrolled in the institute from 2008 to 2010.

Aside from their formal education, Farzad also obtained various certifications. In 2014, they completed a course on Machine Learning from Coursera. Farzad obtained two certifications related to Spanish language fluency from Duolingo, intermediate fluency in June 2016, and elementary fluency in October and September 2015. Furthermore, in 2020, they completed two courses in Natural Language Processing, specifically focused on probabilistic models and classification and vector spaces, from Coursera.
