Acca Gunel Behbudova Ph.D., Dipi̇fr, Mba

Gunel Behbudova PhD, ACCA, DipİFR, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Gunel Behbudova began their career in 2010 at the Ministry of Taxes, the Republic of Azerbaijan, where they worked as a state tax inspector, head of division, and eventually became a senior tax inspector. In 2019, they joined PASHA Insurance OJSC as a tax specialist and later became a financial controller. Gunel Behbudova also worked at Kapital Bank as a lead internal auditor in 2020. Gunel then moved to Baku Eurasian University, where they worked as a lecturer from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, they returned to PASHA Insurance OJSC and took on roles such as lead compliance specialist, compliance service coordinator, and head of compliance service. Currently, Gunel Behbudova is a university lecturer at Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University, starting in 2023.

Gunel Behbudova obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from Baku State University in the years 2022-2026. Gunel Behbudova then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Finance, General at Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry from 2013-2016. Gunel also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), which they earned between 2009-2012. Prior to their MBA, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Tax Law/Taxation at UNEC from 2005-2009.

In addition to their degrees, Gunel Behbudova has obtained several certifications. These include F5 (Performance Management) and F9 (Financial Management) from ACCA, which they obtained in October 2019 and July 2018, respectively. Gunel Behbudova also holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting (ACCA DipİFR) from ACCA, which they obtained in August 2017. Moreover, Gunel has obtained several ACCA certifications in Accountant in Business (F1), Management Accounting (F2), Financial Accounting (F3), and Financial Reporting (F7), all obtained in January 2017. Furthermore, they have obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council in September 2017.
