Noam Marianne

Noam Marianne has worked for a variety of companies since 2006, starting with Supergas Israel Gas Distribution Co. Ltd. as a DB & Business Intelligence Specialist, where they were responsible for MSSQL 2008/2005/2000 administration and MSSQL DTS & SSIS development. From 2012-2015, they worked for Gilat Satellite Networks as a BI & DB projects leader, data analyst, and C# applications developer, managing Corporate BI Applications and designing and developing several BI DWH Projects simultaneously. From 2015-2016, they worked for Wefi as a Big Data DBA & ETL Automation, developing Big Data Technologies and programming solutions using Python, Bash, and Java, and working on a live 20 nodes Hadoop cluster. From 2016-2017, they worked for Lenderly as a Big Data Solution Architect & Backend Automation, building the company backend services and driving the company data management strategy & architecture. Since 2017, they have been working for PayPal as a Data Engineering Tech Lead, managing various big data projects from requirements gathering and scope preparation to project closure. Currently, they are employed with PayZen as the Head of Data.

Noam Marianne obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Industrial Engineering from Shenkar College of Engineering between 2000 and 2004. Subsequently, Noam Marianne obtained several certifications, including a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera in June 2017, a .NET 4.5 C# WPF developer certification from Sela Group in September 2013, a .NET 4.0 C# developer certification from Sela Group in November 2012, a Statistic control certification from ALD College in July 2012, and a TS: Microsoft SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance certification from Microsoft in June 2008.
